I am going to start posting regularly for a while. I never thought anyone was reading them. My sister said she signed up to receive my posts as an Email. It is fun when you think you have a following. So if you are interested please sign up, it keeps me going. I have been working on a new series that I will call "REFLECTIONS". here is the first one it is titled "REFLECTIONS OF A FORMER SELF"
Also the poem that I wrote to go with it.
REFLECTIONS OF A FORMER SELF
Does beauty ride on nature’s wings, soaring through the air?
Or is beauty in each detail, programmed with the utmost care?
Reflections of a former self when life and love entwined,
Her joy of simple pleasures, transform to delectation's quite refined.
Where wind and wild flowers once wrapped around her shoulders bare,
Now perfume and adornment conceal well coiffured hair.
Echoing through the years, the grace of womankind,
To every season in her growing, new beauty is assigned.
While young and in the moment, there is nothing to compare.
But time adds tasteful elegance and seasoned beauty to declare.
Reflections of a former self, should not be left behind,
The beauty of her aura awakens, when the two are well combined.
